About us

Youth-led since 2011. Built for collective action.

We are a Zimbabwean youth-led organisation creating space for young people and communities to lead positive social and environmental change.

History & purpose

From a youth initiative to a community platform

Magna Youth Action was established in 2011 as a youth-led initiative and has since developed into a platform focused on youth empowerment, environmental protection, climate action and inclusive community development.

The organisation was founded by youth activist Tafadzwa Chando when he was 14 years old. Today, its story is carried forward through collective programmes, partnerships, young leaders and the communities it serves.

The Global South 🌍

Partnerships, networks and collaborative initiatives connect young people around climate change, inequality, youth exclusion and sustainable development. This does not imply permanent programmes in every country.
